Some Have Milk in Them

DISCLAIMER I've had to temporarily stop painting due to some health risks involved with the paint - so I am fooling around with photos.
I was visiting my sweetheart’s brother-in-laws farm in Minnesota recently and took photographs of the feed lot he had on the property. As I am a city boy I do not often see steers. I do eat meat occasionally (nothing much better than a good Porterhouse) but seeing the animals in the feed lot gave me – as the saying goes – "food for thought".
There are big meat packinghouses close to the farm and he asked me if I wanted to see how they process the meat. After seeing how the steers are raised for slaughter I now think I would rather see the meat left on the cow.
I will close this post with a line came across that I had not heard before. "If animals aren't supposed to be eaten, then why are they made out of meat?
